Zach Quinto as Star Trek’s Mr. Spock? What’s your opinion?
This is probably the sci-fi Heroes news of the week!
We already know both Greg Grunberg and Zachary Quinto want in on Star Trek.
IGN.com reportedly heard rumors from CHUD.com that Heroes resident evil Zachary Quinto “is in negotiations” to play Star Trek’s Mr. Spock.
Zach was quoted last December as saying,” People are constantly telling me I bear some resemblance to Leonard Nimoy.”
The original role of Star Trek’s science officer was played for years by Leonard Nimoy.
But what do YOU think? Will Zachary Quinto make a believable Vulcan, as Mr. Spock?

As the young Spock, maybe…
There is no official word from either Quinto’s or Star Trek director J.J. Abrams, but we might not have to wait long for it. Casting for Star Trek will be made at the San Diego Comic-con, so sci-fi fans should be on the look-out for this. If ever, this ’surprise’ might be at the July 26 program, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Living Long and Prospering: Celebrating 40 Years Of Star Trek.
