Will Milo Ventimiglia fit Spiderman’s suit?
Since rumor abounds that Tobey Maguire may quit as Peter Parker after Spiderman-3, Goldteeth offers four possible candidates, topped by Milo Ventimiglia. Mike says Milo has matured enough as an actor since his teen days at Gilmore Girls, and his character’s name on Heroes i s a “TV copy of Peter Parker. The character’s name, Peter Petrelli, is a dead giveaway”.
What do you think? Will Milo make a cool Spiderman?

Oh, hell yeah! :) I love Tobey as Spider-Man, but if he really were to quit, Milo would be my number one to replace him.
I see Peter Petrelli as a strange blend of Peter Parker and Neo Anderson already, so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch at all to just see him as Peter Parker.

Oh yes!
I had this conversation with my brother some time back, and we think he’d make a much better Parker than Tobey Maguire.
I’ve personally never felt Maguire was a good fit, and Ventimiglia would breathe fresh air into a somewhat-laughable franchise. Additionally, I think he’s got a darker - more dangerous kind of look which would work well for Spider-man’s darker moments (this would’ve worked exceptionally well in 3, for instance).

IMO milo v. is too dark to be a peter parker. Okay, his face is similiar to tobey, but i can’t imagine how milo throw some joke to a villain or his friend like in the comic book. even the brighter tobey maguire couldn’t get the sense of humor that the comic book (the real) spidey has.
