Was Smallville’s “Subterranean” episode lame?
Blogger and Smallville fan Brer Michael analyzed the ninth episode “Subterranean” and declared it as lame.
Last night’s episode was lame for the most part, to the point I was wondering what the hell was wrong that it actually aired. It was a throwback to the first season which mostly consisted of Clark putting down people who had acquired super powers as a reaction from being near Kryptonite and done something evil in the process. The series has since moved way past that style of episode, getting more mature and character driven, so I was basically thinking, “Wow this is lame” the entire hour as I fought with myself not to fast forward to the end.
There was redemption somewhere in the episode, though. Read the rest of Brer Michael’s comments here.
