Primeval: Volume One is the latest edition to BBC’s science fiction repertoire, will street on November 4, 2008. From the creators of the Emmy Award winning documentary series, Walking With Dinosaurs, this groundbreaking series features a crew of scientists that discover an anomaly through which prehistoric creatures escape and turn the natural world upside down. Samuel Sloan of FarPoint Media reviewed the series for Slice of Sci-Fi:

ScFi has been in my heart and soul since my first memories as a child. My life would not be the same without it.I like the good ones, the old ones the cheesy ones, you name it. I heard this was a great series, but somehow, I completely missed it up to this point. Now I’m on a mission to find it on cable. I won’t miss it from here on!
I like sci-fi shows because you never know what to expect and it keeps you on your toes!

I love sci-fi because it’s a beautiful combination of fantasy & reality. Remember – 75 years ago a cell phone would have been considered a piece of science fiction. Who knows what we’ll know that long from now?!?!?!
