Treasure give-away #2: BookSwim 3 months free membership
If NetFlix is for DVDs, then BookSwim is for books.
BookSwim is the first and only national online service that rents paperback and hardcover books (Netflix-style) without the need to purchase. Users can choose from a variety of titles, including new releases, bestsellers and classics as the company ships the books to readers, who can keep them for as long as they like with no late fees. After a book is returned, the next book is sent with free shipping both ways.
BookSwim sponsored a free 3-month membership for 3 books at a time, which has a value of $60. It’s easy to join -
- One entry per person per day. Say “aye!” if you want one.
- It’s open to residents of the US only.
- Contest ends 11:59 midnight EST on October 31, 2008 (Friday). One winner will be randomly chosen and announced via blog and email the week after.
- If the winner does not reply within 3 days, he/she forfeits her winnings and an alternate entry will be chosen.
- REMINDER #1 : In previous contests, I have had several winners forfeited for failure to reply to my emails. Please make sure your settings don’t put my email into the junk folder, otherwise you’ll have no idea you won. Better yet, please check this blog for the winners’ list after the contest ends. Best bet, come back often and stay a reader!

“Aye”…What a cool idea! This would be great when my kids need a certain book for school and it is checked out at the libraries! Plus, mom could have some reading materials for the upcoming cold Winter nights by the fire place!!
