The Linderman-Petrelli connection
So we know that Linderman and Petrelli Sr. go way back to Vietnam. Linderman was “Austin”, the medic who can heal a dying person (or plant as the preview showed). And Petrelli is “Dallas”, an ordinary soldier on the receiving end of a miracle. And Au Co - she’s the young girl (Vietnamese, I assume) with the powers to make plants grow at a much faster rate.
If you followed the novel “War Buddies” then you know Dallas/Petrelli tried to reveal to the higher ranks that Austin/Linderman has special abilities, but without proof, he was dismissed from the army. Years later, Linderman comes knocking and gets Petrelli to join him in his cause to “change the world”.
It’s all classified information that Hana Gittelman got hold of. In her website, she shows this one last evidence of someone’s marriage to Au Co, and four Lone Star cowboys congratulating him. Dallas/Petrelli’s name is NOT on the list. Do we assume he married her?
Makes sense. Peter and Nathan have powers and papa Petrelli obviously is as ordinary as pie. Genetics dictates a gene must have come from the mom then… Is mama Petrelli hiding some powers? Is she Au Co? and if not and she’s as ordinary as her husband, then whose boys are Peter and Nathan?
And if the military knows about these secrets, then how much of it is just Linderman’s doing? It’s a conspiracy theory/X-men view all over again!
Questions. Answers. *gnawing fingers*… anyone have theories?
