Titled “Fugitives”, we know at least that the volume will involve the heroes running for their lives. But that’s not all that they’ll be doing. A source named Grunny hints at a plane crash, not like Lost, but a plane crash that puts some of the heroes’ lives in peril.

So, what do we know so far?

• Emmy award winner Zeljko Ivanek will join the cast of “Heroes” as the Hunter, and obviously that’s what he does – prey upon the heroes. We will see him on the show before the year ends.
• “Aliens in America” Dan Byrd is also joining the cast of Heroes in a recurring role as a teenager named Luke whose powers involve emitting microwaves, strong enough to fry people.
• In one behind the scene, Sylar will be dressed in a SWAT uniform and carrying Luke over his shoulder.
• “One Tree Hill” alumna Moira Kelly will also be joining “Fugitives” for at least one episode as  a Homeland Security Agent. Finally the government steps in.
• The series has posted several casting calls, and one of them is for a familiar name to early morning show viewers.

But enough about the new people (for now), what you want are spoilers.

The first episode of “Fugitives” will involve the Hunter capturing the heroes in a transport plane, which of course crashes. Greg Grunberg says we won’t know who survives in that crash.. and E! Online hints there may even be some downsizing of cast members. I also heard that a newish blonde cast will be leaving the show, and I mean her character dies.

Some other spoilers: 

• Episode 4.17 will be likened to season 1, which is one of the best written episodes this series ever had. The title “Cold War” hints at a kidnapping and some mental interrogation.
• There is a top secret government operations that involves the military.

I hate it when I’m reading an edge-of-the-seat thriller and someone interrupts me!

Well, that’s what it feels like with “Heroes” now. Just as it’s getting better, it’s a “to be continued” and then we have to wait until next week. And this trailer doesn’t help either!

Arthur Petrelli is awake and putting his “army” together! I still can’t believe he can communicate from his comatose bedridden state. At his disposal, he has the mind-bending Maury, little miss confused Daphne, Knox the baddie, Flint the fire-breathing dragon, and maybe Hiro, Matt (if Daphne recruits him) Claire (at least from the future) and of course the disciple Adam. Will Peter join them?

Meanwhile, I’m suspicious of Mohinder’s true colors now. He’s more dangerous than his old friends know him to be.

What do you think Suresh did to Nathan? What was that he injected? It can’t be the antidote because he doesn’t have it? This is not going well for the future President, or for the other heroes.

Pretending to be an engaged couple, Clark Kent and Lois Lane investigate a serial Phantom abductor when they get caught in the dangerous game. The  promo images below are from a scene where Lois has to answer “truth-or-consequence” questions. If she fails the lie-detector test, Clark gets hurt.

Uh-oh, what’s tying up Clark? Images after the cut will spoil what the phantom abductor can do to Clark.

A weakened Clark is bound to a chair loaded with the liquid green rock, while Lois Lane looks helpless on the the interrogation chair. Lois failed the lie detector and Clark gets zapped!

   
We know from the sneak peek that this Phantom asks “relationship questions” (He must really have had some hang-ups!). SO what questions were Lois asked that ends Clark in the hot seat? I can think of one – are you attracted to this hunk?

If you’re wondering as I am how a villain like her turns out to be a mom in the future, Brea told TV Guide that really Daphne is “a villain with a purpose”, but she’s not a killer. “Daphne is a girl who has a different set of rules than we have. She feels like she has to do what she has to do to get the life she wants.”

Brea also reveals there her high school track medal plays a bigger part “that people realize”. Daphne is so emotionally invested in, and getting paid for, what she’s doing that her motivations are complicated.

Brea had little idea that she was going to be deeply involved in the story of “Heroes” volume 3. She did know Matt Parkman was going to be her “soul mate”. After last week’s glimpse into the future Mrs. Parkman, Brea reveals that they are going to meet in the near future, although Parkman will be a little thrown with the Speedster’s ways.

“We definitely seem like opposites at this point in time. Daphne is very playful, but she has to make some hard decisions about where her life is going, so she may calm down a bit. She sees all these things happen involving the formula and she has to make decisions about who she ends up with – which may or may not be the future that you saw.”

In this episode titled “identity” Clark will be forced to get creative to hide his true ‘colors’ of the red and blue. We know he’ll eventually turn into a fumbling awkward reporter with glasses and uncharacteristic shyness, so will we see Clark Kent going in that direction? We’ll find out on October 30.

JIMMY TAKES A PICTURE OF CLARK SAVING LOIS — Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) snaps a picture of Clark (Tom Welling) super-speeding to save Lois (Erica Durance) from a mugger and manages to catch a red and blue blur on film.  Jimmy shows it to Tess (Cassidy Freeman) who decides to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet.  Clark fears his identity will be discovered so he asks Chloe (Allison Mack) to run interference with Jimmy, but she refuses.  Justin Hartley and Sam Witwer also star.  Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer.

So, to preview –

• After Chloe and Jimmy’s engagement party, the couple get abducted by a mysterious villain.
• Lois and Clark pretend as an engaged couple to investigate their friends’ disappearance.
• They  – Chloe and Jimmy, Lois and Clark – will be forced to play a ‘lie-detector game’ where all their secrets come to the surface.

Oh, and I know Lois previously said “there is nothing romantic about Lois and Clark” but a kiss happens!

Fresh off the plate, NBC just loaded more pictures for this Monday’s episode, and you will love the spoilers these images bring!

I think I get the mind behind “Angels and Monsters”. This episode is all about alliances and partnership between what we know to be good guys/heroes and villains. Unlikely partnerships they may be, like Sylar and HRG, but if I may guess, these bedfellows work well together, and that may be the surprise of it all.

In this scene, Sylar/Gabriel talks to his new partner, Noah. If you watched last week’s episode you did notice that Gabriel’s son was named Noah. Reader Miharu Skii mentioned a theory that grand old HRG might have been de-aged (ala The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and that boy could be HRG himself. This is just  speculation, but that’s quite an interesting twist if there’s something to that theory, don’t you think? In the episode “I Am Become Death” Gabriel has grown very fond of his “son”. He is the reason the once-villain tries to live a normal life. Hopefully we’ll know more about that boy Noah and his connection to the older Noah/HRG (if there is one) and Sylar’s change of heart.

Meantime, here is another scene of the new partners working together. This is unlike HRG’s previous comrade, because the Haitian was more an accomplice than someone who can pull his own. Sylar is proving very handy for HRG. HA! Noah just might warm up to the brain-slicer.

It seems like the HRG and Sylar are on an assignment, and if these images tell the story, they’re trying to save Claire from Vortex Villain. If we can read Claire’s mind, I doubt that she likes seeing her daddy in cahoots with this villain. Sylar is the only reason she’s gone rebel. As Claire confessed to Meredith, she’s hunting villains to hurt them for what they did to her. And Sylar is on top of her list. Hmm, I wonder how this scene turns out.

Sarkie Adam is back! We know Hiro and Ando dug him up from his grave dungeon. We only know that Adam can help Hiro get the formula back. How? I think his connections with ol’ Linderman will explain that. But in this scene, Hiro and Adam are onto something, and then what? How did Hiro end up being clobbered cold. Doesn’t Adam look sharp despite being underground for months? It’s that blonde hair, dude.

And what’s going on with Hiro and best friend Ando? Hiro, have you gone mad? That sidekick of yours is smarter than your and he will go with you to hell (well, maybe not but you get the point). So what’s with the sword?

Uh, oh and this is not looking any better. We know Linderman already got to Daphne. So having Knox in the picture must mean she just recruited him. Are they asking Hiro and Ando to join them too? Bad idea.

Previous installations of pictures show Peter in a rampage and about to slice the brains open of someone he loves. And Arthur Petrelli rises from the ashes.

So, “Angels and Monsters” it is. Unlikely alliances between heroes and villains, happening this Monday at NBC.
