Heroes “Volume 4: Fugitives” returns in February with Tim Kring apology
Despite the bad press and ratings that “Heroes” is getting, it’s good to know NBC still believes in the series!
The peacock network renewed “Heroes Volume 4: Fugitives” for the next half of the season. The series will be returning in February 2009, once the current volume of “Villains” is wrapped up, with only three more episodes to go.
“Heroes” is already halfway in production of the volume, although it’s not being filmed in sequence. Recently, executive producer and creator Tim Kring landed in hot water when he spoke to screenwriters in a panel and referred to TV viewers as “saps” when he tried to explain the decline in the show’s rating. Kring quickly apologized for his “mangled quote”.
Heroes 3.06 "Dying of the Light" - trailer

I hate it when I’m reading an edge-of-the-seat thriller and someone interrupts me!
Well, that’s what it feels like with “Heroes” now. Just as it’s getting better, it’s a “to be continued” and then we have to wait until next week. And this trailer doesn’t help either!
Arthur Petrelli is awake and putting his “army” together! I still can’t believe he can communicate from his comatose bedridden state. At his disposal, he has the mind-bending Maury, little miss confused Daphne, Knox the baddie, Flint the fire-breathing dragon, and maybe Hiro, Matt (if Daphne recruits him) Claire (at least from the future) and of course the disciple Adam. Will Peter join them?
Meanwhile, I’m suspicious of Mohinder’s true colors now. He’s more dangerous than his old friends know him to be.
Watch the vid after the jump and let’s talk about this trailer!

Heroes episode 3.07 “Eris Quod Sum“
Airdate: October 2008
“Eris Quod Sum” or “I am what you will be” is generally used for a gravestone, but it can also depict what the future looks like. It’s a perfect phrase for “Heroes” as episodes jump between the present and ‘what will become’ in the future.
In the scenes spoiled by the images below, Elle Bishop returns to Claire Bennet’s house and she gets shocked more than she can handle.
It’s a catfight!
Thanks to Lyle’s quick thinking, Elle effectively becomes powerless and Claire can manhandle her.

These are teaser photos of the episode “Dying of the Light” which comes out two weeks from now, and they’re spoilers for the taking.
Of course Adam Monroe knows Arthur Petrelli. Adam Monroe pays a visit to comrade Arthur Petrelli. Friendly or fatal visit? We know Adam is not one to just chat.
Now the promo video for Monday’s episode (”Angels and Monsters“) blurb that Arthur Petrelli is the leader of the villain, when we all thought it was Adam who recruited them into the company, or does he want us to think that?

Heroes 3.05 "Angels and Heroes" - new promo pictures (part 3) !

Heroes episode 3.05 “Angels and Monsters“
Airdate: October 13, 2008
Fresh off the plate, NBC just loaded more pictures for this Monday’s episode, and you will love the spoilers these images bring!
I think I get the mind behind “Angels and Monsters”. This episode is all about alliances and partnership between what we know to be good guys/heroes and villains. Unlikely partnerships they may be, like Sylar and HRG, but if I may guess, these bedfellows work well together, and that may be the surprise of it all.
In this scene, Sylar/Gabriel talks to his new partner, Noah. If you watched last week’s episode you did notice that Gabriel’s son was named Noah. Reader Miharu Skii mentioned a theory that grand old HRG might have been de-aged (ala The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and that boy could be HRG himself. This is just speculation, but that’s quite an interesting twist if there’s something to that theory, don’t you think? In the episode “I Am Become Death” Gabriel has grown very fond of his “son”. He is the reason the once-villain tries to live a normal life. Hopefully we’ll know more about that boy Noah and his connection to the older Noah/HRG (if there is one) and Sylar’s change of heart.
Meantime, here is another scene of the new partners working together. This is unlike HRG’s previous comrade, because the Haitian was more an accomplice than someone who can pull his own. Sylar is proving very handy for HRG. HA! Noah just might warm up to the brain-slicer.

We’ve always known the Petrelli family is dysfunctional, but Mama Angela Petrelli was the tie that bound everyone together (pun intended). Now, it looks like momma can’t control her sons anymore. Nathan is brainwashed by her old company man Linderman. Sylar/Gabriel is her new-found obedient “misunderstood” son, but how much does she really control him? Then her idealistic emotion-driven Peter just went over the edge! Can a mother take so much more?
How about this? Her dead husband returns! He never actually died.

Have I got the pictures for you! This set of images from “Heroes” are so spoilirific I’ll watch Monday’s episode just to see this in motion. Peter is on a rampage, and his hunger is diabolical!
Remember from the previous episode how Peter took on future Sylar’s power. Sylar doesn’t just know how things work. Ultimately, what drives him (and now Peter) is the primal hunger for more power, and knowing how to get it. Who’s the monster now?
In this scene (and series of images below) Peter confronts his mother Angela. And oh boy, is her son angry. I can think of a few things he’d want to say. To start with, how Sylar her son ended up being the head-villain; her Company’s jezebelic manipulation to get to their agenda; and the chaos they never fail to generate. After the cut, you’ll find out what Peter’s hunger, and anger, leads him to do.

Heroes 3.05 "Angels and Monsters" - sneak peek Daphne and Linderman
Heroes episode 3.05 “Angels and Monsters“
Airdate: October 13, 2008
So, Linderman is truly not dead. How did he survive the brain-squashing punch that DL Hawkins gave him? Can he heal himself, and if so, do does this mean he is indestructible too?
The sneak peek (below the cut) shows Linderman recruiting Daphne into a company, apparently different from his generation’s Company. If you remember, Linderman is Adam Monroe’s disciple, and if those two are going to band again, then what the Company is doing will be no match against the heinous capabilities of this new company. And just to spoil, the company’s name would be Pinehearst Industries, founded by Knox and Daphne. If it’s run by villains like Knox and thieves like Daphne well there is no pretending that it even wants to “do good” like the Company wanted its recruits to believe.
This peek tells us who’s the real mastermind behind Pinehearst.
