“Heroes” actor Milo Ventimiglia may be the coolest geek-actor in all of Hollywood. He proudly admitted in a previous interview that being a comic fan is now considered cool and they don’t have to hide anymore. And Milo found a venue for his interests in both “Heroes” and comic-book productions. Even before season 3 of “Heroes” ended, Milo began producing his second venture into comics with “Berserker” and he’s so totally into it.

This weekend, Milo was at the Golden Apple Comics to sign copies of “Berserker” which he co-produced with Divide Pictures partner Russ Cundiff. The comics was created by Top Cow Productions.  “Berserker” tells about warring families who bear uncontrolled rage, a trait seemingly inherited from their Norse ancestors.

Greg Grunberg and Jack Coleman and found something so funny that they broke out in fits. Thing is, Milo Ventimiglia didn’t seem to think it funny, and Adrian Pasdar looked a little clueless.

Happier times at the Petrellis, how handsome they all look! Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) and his dad Arthur (Robert Forster) in a tux, how nice. This must be in some past event, since Peter still has the long bangs. 

But I doubt these were the good ol’ days either. Petrelli is probably onto  something, plotting his next move with war buddy Linderman. (more hi-res images after the cut)

In the GN “War Buddies” the young Linderman was portrayed as someone who wanted to help heal people, but his partner Petrelli has been shady from the start. I still wonder how Linderman turned and became a villain, who actually believes he does the world good.

In almost like a rare appearance, Milo Ventimiglia went the circuit this week! First, he went shopping. No biggie? Not if we rarely see him, so that was a treat, plus Milo went with Hayden Panetttiere. 

On October 20, Milo went to the Burberry Re-opening of the Beverly Hills store, in this James-Dean inspired black leather jacket and marroon shirt, slicked hair and that crooked smile. Total coolness.

What does Milo say about the British fashion brand?

“I always dug what Burberry was trying to do with the classics and merging into a real modern feel,” said Milo.  “I thought it was a cool thing to come out and support.”

So Milo Ventimiglia went around town his week! He was at the Bonnie Hunt Show October 20 and they talked at length about performing, being a vegetarian, Afghanistan and Hayden Panettiere. Did you know he was a vegetarian since in the womb? Amazing!

Does it seem to you like Milo is a shy person? I thought he is, or maybe he’s not used to the attention of stardom yet, which is good to be kept grounded like that. But oh, did you notice how he evaded the question about Hayden, and his face went sour? When you’re out in the spotlight all the time like Milo is, you really have to guard what little privacy you have. And that’s hard.

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia went shopping this weekend at popular spot Jenni Kayne. After shopping the racks together, the “Heroes” couple went out of the store one at a time to avoid being photographed together.

The set of photos from Zimbio show Hayden and Milo separately, and presumably it’s the same time. Milo seems really intent on hiding, walking with his head bowed most of the time. He does look cute in his fedora hat and red plaid.

This is the Milo Ventimiglia movie that makes CSI look like a stale imitation. That “Pathology” lacks subtlety is exactly what the directors and writers were aiming for - it’s what would have been like as the real thing.  It’s direction, actors, sets and the dead bodies were totally believable, and that’s why this medical thriller is not a film for the squeamish. Since I didn’t get to watch the movie when it went out, I checked out the DVD.

It also had a weird way of pulling the viewer (me) in, while keeping the stomach stay knotted the whole time. You know it’s not going to end well, but you want to know just how sick and vile the characters can go. So you watch till the end, and then you feel sick and relieved when it’s over.

“Pathology” revolves around Dr. Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia), a new Pathology intern at the University Hospital in Philadelphia who cross hairs with a group of psychopathic residents and their sick game of committing the perfect crime. The rest must then figure out how this crime was committed, and the winner goes to the unsolved murder. Fascinated with playing god, Grey finds out too late how deep he is in the muck, and the only way out was to commit the final perfect murder.

The present and future collide in episode 304, as revealed by an IGN interview of Milo Ventimiglia.

Here’s what we now know:

• It’s now five to seven years in the future.
• Future Sylar is no longer the boogieman, and he’s friends with future Peter! (Ha, I didn’t see that coming)
• More people have flying abilities. (Does this mean Mohinder’s tests were a success?)
• Patriarch Arthur Petrelli is a megalomania. He wants to be the most powerful (and guess who of his “sons” take after him?)

Milo is looking very handsome in a dark blue suit. I like the beard! It makes the good-boy image more mature and serious.

Heroes cast members Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka visited Australia to promote the show’s new season and mingle with fans. By ‘new season’ I meant that “Heroes volume 2:Generations” DVD is coming out in the US. The same volume of Heroes will also kick off SCI FI Australia’s expansion into widescreen format. Milo and Masi attended a SCI FI cocktail party, under the glow of the Sydney Opera House.

Jamming, live on stage, Masi did come split heavy beatboxing and Milo quickly learned to work the didge, the world’s oldest wind instrument.

Later, Milo and Masi took a break from the publicity tour to sight-see some of Sydney’s beauty. Looking very handsome is Milo, watching the waves break at a bridge.
