Erica Durance and Justin Hartley at Manitoba Comic Con (Canada)

Two Smallville casts who will take more centerstage roles in season 8 are Erica Durance and Justin Hartley. Sans Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk), Clark Kent (Tom Welling) will be setting his sights on Lois Lane (Erica Durance) as they work together at the Daily Planet. Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) will lead the justice league of america and rescue Clark Kent.
Erica and Justin will continue the rounds of promoting Smallville in various comic conferences. Next stop for Erica is the Dragon Con at Atlanta. Then onto the Manitoba Comic Con with Justin.

The Smallville cast was actually introduced by Jeph Loeb, who still loves Smallville! Fan-favorite Allison Mack (Chloe) and Justin Hartley (Oliver) were there with newcomers Sam Witwer (Davis Bloome/Doomsday) and Cassidy Freeman (Tess Mercer). The four new producers were also there – Kelly Souders, Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin, and Darren Swimmer. No Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, or Kristin Kreuk?!
A preview of season 8 was shown, and a fan captured it on vid. It’s not too clear but we can figure afew familiar spoilers from it –

The Heroes gang answered questions at the Comic Con 2008 after theseason 3 premiere was showed and there was just so much excitement there!
A woman asks to hug Milo and take a picture with him! (Lucky her!!!), to the “boohs” of everyone else. Then someone asks the cast to describe Heroes in one word. “Fantastical” “Brouhaha!” “Adrenalin” “Melt your head” “Sexy”…

Allison Mack answered a fan question at the San Diego Comic Con this week. How has life changed for her character? She was with Smallville since season 1, at age 18 and now she’s 26 – “this show was a huge part of (my) growing”. Looks like Allison will be directing episodes 13 or 15.

According to Masi Oka – “They’re planning to play the whole first episode of Heroes at Comic-Con.”
WHOA! The whole first episode? Really? According to this, yes. Heroes’ tentative schedule will be on Saturday July 26, 10:45 am. BE THERE!

Milo Ventimiglia is not as cool as he wants to be and it’s all caught on film!
Milo and the Divide team was at the New York Comic Con their new graphic novel “Rest”. Divide Social Club filmed Milo while signing a poster and then… well, you just got to watch it.
