Hayden Panettiere and boyfriend and “Heroes” co-star Milo Ventimiglia have been caught in a rumor-fest the last few weeks. The couple has been reported to have gone their separate ways following rumors of a pregnancy scare, lifestyle conflict, unhappiness and a third person, and Valentine’s Day spent apart! 

It must have been crazy over at the “Heroes” set too, what with Hayden and Milo sharing scenes together as Claire Bennet and Peter Petrelli.

Kristin dos Santos of E! Online dispelled all the rumors of the break-up as FALSE. According to her sources, the couple are as happy (and as private) as ever.

But she does have a Heroes spoiler that is most likely true -

Hayden Panettiere will be in a steamy underwater kissing scene with new-comer Justin Baldoni, who earned the nickname Aquaboy for his abilities to breathe underwater. Hayden’s character Claire is hiding Alex (Justin) in her bedroom and Justin spoils that an on-screen chemistry is developing between their characters. Says Justin of Hayden  -

"She’s the best actress I’ve ever worked with, and we really connected."

Heroes volume 4 (Fugitives) is returning to television on Monday February 2, with an episode that defines what the rest of the storyline is. The US government considers everyone with super-power abilities as a threat to national security. Senator Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar), now head of Homeland Security, will in charge of taking down the very same people he used to worked with, including his daughter Claire Bennet, his brother Peter and his mother Angela Petrelli. You can be sure there’s going to be some family conflicts as Nathan goes after his own kind.

But currently, Heroes is still filming some of its last episodes. And in these behind the scene photos, Nathan Petrelli is shown with his daughter Claire (Hayden Panettiere). The father and daughter are shown in a lighter moment, where Nathan gives Claire a necklace and picks her up and carries her. Maybe this is part of the last few episodes (a happy ending?) or maybe this part of some happier family times (I doubt it). Although it’s uncertain what scene or episode this is part of, the images below certainly show that the Petrelli family know how to care.

Heroes episode 3.11 "The Eclipse - Part 2"

Uh oh. Claire Bennet isn’t as indestructible as we thought anymore. The second eclipse took away her powers. She has been shot, and is losing plenty of blood.

If she dies, the catalyst dies with her. But if she lives and Arthur Petrelli gets her blood, then more people will have powers in the future, and that’s not such a good thing either.

Is Claire Bennet worth saving? Will she ever get her powers back?

Heroes episode 3.09 "It’s Coming"
Airdate: November 17, 2008

Milo Ventimiglia talked about "Heroes" episode 3.09 "It’s Coming" and the scene in his apartment where he asks Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) to keep away from all the violence and fighting. The video is Milo’s take on the sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes I previously posted.

But he adds something spoilery and it has to do with Claire’ character and the formula.

Heroes episode 3.09 "It’s Coming"
Airdate: November 17, 2008

Now this is a more interesting trailer than the other one. But I have to warn you this is so spoilery that you might want to pass…

Nah! It’s too good not to know!

(OK, I warned you!)

The serum that Mohinder injects into people triggers a mutation because something is missing -  a catalyst. Daddy Petrelli corrects that the catalyst is not something, it’s someone. Can you guess who it is?

So Pinehearst wants to capture Claire, and I assume, use her blood to stabilize the serum.

Heroes episode 3.06 “Dying of the Light“
Airdate: October 20, 2008

Even after the Level 5 fiasco, I never doubted that those who possess Sylar’s powers - him and Peter - can do the greatest harm. That is, until dad comes along. Arthur Petrelli is scary. He is now virtually unstoppable and everyone around him is dispensable.

But first let’s see what went down -

Knox took Adam Monroe in to see a bedridden, immovable Arthur Petrelli, and for the first time Adam was scared for his life. Arthur only had to touch him and Adam’s powers and life source transferred to the incapacitated elder. Adam dried out and turned to dust right before our eyes! Is this goodbye for David Anders? Meanwhile, Meredith is hostaged by Eric Doyle, a puppeteer who can control a human’s muscles and movement. Claire and her mom Sandra try to save her only to be held captive themselves. A game of Russian roulette points the gun at Claire and Sandra shoots her daughter. Eric Doyle’s mad laughter at the sight of a dead Claire was short-lived when Claire regenerated and hit the puppeteer’s head unconscious. HRG finishes the job by putting Doyle into a coma and bringing him back to Level 5.

Now for a good news and a big ‘whew’!

Heroes season 3
Premieres September 22, 2008

“Heroes” released a lot of promotional videos in the past month, but it’s really just the same long video clip retold, cut, built up and repeated over and over. It gets old after a while. NOT THIS ONE! Oh no.

• Nathan Petrelli dies (autopsied dead) at the hands of his brother.
• Nikki sees herself (or her twin/clone?) cold as dead in a coffin.
• Peter shift-changes right before our eyes, but another prisoner says he really is Peter! What’s really going on?
• And then Peter brings Nathan back to life.
• IS that Ando fighting with Hiro?! 
• Meredith (Claire Bennet’s bio mom) shows off her powers to Noah Bennet.
• Sylar is hurt. Did Claire do it?
• new character Knox knocks Peter off his feet.
• spidey-Mohinder makes out with Maya
• and the clincher, Claire asks Sylar as he looks at her open skull, “Are you gonna eat it?” The villain’s reply? “Eat your brains? Claire that’s disgusting!”

Claire Bennet is going to be in a lot of trouble come Heroes season 3!

Claire is still pretty much a teenage but she’s bent on doing things her way even if her parents say ‘no’.

Says Hayden Panettiere of her Heroes alter-ego, “You think, okay you can say no. I hope you say yes because that would make this whole thing a lot easier – but I’m going to do what I want to do, and I’m determined to head down this path that I’m aiming for.”

In a move that imitates life, Claire will try to make it on her own and gets her apartment (peek at Claire Bennet’s living on the Heroes set).

Unfortunately, that move will cost Claire Bennet her brain, as Sylar sucks the powers out of her in a scene that pays homage to Scream. Good thing she can regenerate or that would have been the end of our teenage hero.

But she does get to play hero uncle Peter (or real life bf Milo Ventimiglia), who is all bloodied and weak as revealed in these set photos.

If you were at the SD Comic Con ‘08, these pictures might already look familiar, if they were shown in the first hour of the premiere for “Heroes: Villains”

The promotional pictures show almost all the cast members but very little is revealed, except maybe Mohinder and Maya’s scene. And I take it Claire just saw Sylar standing at her doorway.
