Kristin again has the scoops on “Heroes“! Her readers asked her about Greg Grunberg and Ali Larter’s powers. Here’s what we now know:

On Ali Larter’s powers:

You know the reporter played by William Katt of Greatest American Hero who confronts “Tracy Strauss” (Ali Larter) with evidence that she’s actually “Niki Saunders”? Well, there’s a reason he’s only in one episode, and that reason is that someone kills him by accident. (Wait a minute, could Ali be playing a character with a lethal power? Noooo!) Also, after Tracy begins to believe the reporter might be right about her real identity, she sets off to find the doctor who delivered her, in hopes that he can tell her more about her origins. She finds out at summer camp she has an identical twin, and they set off on a mischievious but adorable mission to get their parents to reunite. Or wait, that last sentence may have been from another story.

Maybe, but I still think it’s cloning, not just natural twin births. Remember when Linderman said he has been following Niki’s life for a long time and secretly orchestrated her meeting/marriage with D.L.? Now why would the Company be interested in Niki from birth? It may have to do with her origins, as in her parental lineage.

As for Greg Grunberg:

Matt Parkman’s (Greg Grunberg) future is drawn for him by an African bushman, and in the world’s future, the sky is full of people who can fly.

An African version of Isaac Mendes? I wonder what Parkman’s future might look like.

It’s always nice to see the beautiful Ali Larter! Along with the “Heroes” cast, Ali was at the Edison Lounge on September 7 to tape the “Heroes Countdown to Premiere Event”.

Ali Larter will come back for “Heroes” Season 3 as political operative Tracy Straus. What Tracy’s powers are exactly is still unknown, or if she is a split off of Niki/Jessica Sanders. But we’re just glad to see this great actress take on her “Heroes” role. And I wouldn’t mind her being a villain again, don’t you.

For a moment we all thought we had seen the last of Ali Larter on Heroes. We last saw her character Niki Sanders in a warehouse explosion at the end of season 2 (feels like a distant memory… summer is so long!). Then there was no word at all that Ali was going back to Heroes, until we found out she’s having a character u-haul. Good-bye Jessica/Niki/Gina, hello Tracy Strauss. Villain or not, Tracy is rumored to have entirely new powers.

We love Ali Larter, so it’s good to know she’s staying on. Here she is partying at the NBC All Star Party Sunday July 20, 2008. Always gorgeous in this fire-hot red outfit.

There is a big possibility that Niki Sanders may have escaped the New Orleans warehouse explosion when she tried to save her niece Monica, in the final hours of Heroes season 2.

However, Niki Sanders may never re-surface again. Instead another personality may have taken over her.

At least that’s the sense I got from this latest news on the return of Ali Larter for Heroes season 3. Ali will be returning as an whole new personality we haven’t encountered yet: Tracy Strauss. And like the actress who plays her, Tracy will be hot, blond and “look like that chick who once wore a whipped-cream bikini for Dawson Leery”.
