Superman Doomsday on DVD September 18

July 29, 2007 by Grace

The world premiere of Superman Doomsday, a direct-to-DVD animation, was shown at the Comic-con to a jam-packed audience.

Directors Brandon Vietti and Lauren Montgomeri promises this movie to be ’something new’, and surpassed the expectations of the premiere audience.

“The movie itself surpassed my high expectations, exposing and overcoming many of the short-comings of Superman Returns, and frankly most of the Superman stories told in any medium.”

It has a PG-13 rating though, because of some mature scenes between Lois Lane and Superman, and on-screen violence unlike the previous versions of Superman.

Adam Baldwin provides the voice of Superman, and Anna Heche is Lois Lane. James Marsters voices a Lex Luthor that’s more evil than his previous counterparts.
