Smallville: Tom Welling interview – looking back to season 1

A Smallville Backstage special aired around season 4, with a series of interviews with the cast of Smallville.
Here’s Tom Welling’s interview with Brooke Burke. It’s an old interview so Tom is younger here, and still had a boyish look. He just looked so cute and friendly, even a little shy.
Brooke recalls Smallville highlights from the pilot episode in season 1, and asks Tom (aka Clark Kent) about the discovery of his powers and origins.
Tom Welling can wear a Superman uniform without a mask or a hood if Saturgirl or Jor’el makes everyone think that Clark and Superman don’t look alike! That’s why we have a need for the glasses so it would help make him look diffrent! No tights no flights? Season 9 will have Clark fly for the first time when Kara teaches him how! This will make way for new Smallville viewers and a new movie! This show can last a very long time!
