January 4, 2009: Rumor has it that only one of the existing season 8 cast members is NOT coming back for another season.

February 25, 2009: THE BIG NEWS! CW extends SMALLVILLE to season 9!!!!!

February 21, 2009: Tom Welling is directing the last two episode of Season 8. Are we really saying goodbye to the series?

February 20, 2009: CW President for Entertainment wants Smallville to return! How much convincing power do they have over Tom Welling? We can only hope…

January 4, 2009: Rumor has it that Tom Welling is nearing a deal to return for a ninth season!!! Hold your breath, fans!

December 17, 2008: If Smallville ends at eight seasons, are we finally going to see Clark Kent fly?

December 10, 2008: Smallville executive producer Darren Swimmer has big plans for Smallville in the coming years, IF he can convince the actors to stick around for season 9.
