Smallville episode 7.11 “Siren” will reveal the origins of Black Canary, a first generation Justice League of America superhero.

The Green Archer (played by popular guest star Justin Hartley) returns, last seen in January heading off with his newly formed Justice League.
Green Arrow and Black Canary will connect, though not romantically at first.
“When we meet her, she’s a vigilante working for Lex Luthor,” Gough says. The Justice League “has been keeping their eyes on Lex and trying to thwart him at every turn.” Fed up, Lex “will say to Black Canary, if you can bring me the head of the Green Arrow, I’ll make it very much worth your while.”
Black Canary will wear her trademark fishnet.
Chloe will be in quasi-Watchtower mode, doing odd jobs for Oliver and the gang on the side.
