Smallville episode 8.09 “Abyss”

“Abyss” will be all about Clark and Chloe’s friendship, but with a title like that, you’re made to think that something bad is about to happen to Clark’s best friend and sidekick.
According to Kryptonsite, there will be flashbacks related to Chloe and Clark’s friendship. Unfortunately, Chloe’s memory is failing her and she can’t remember anyone except Davis. Clark will ask Jor-El’s help to restore her memories, but decides Chloe might be better off forgetting a thing or two, adds Ausiello.
Is this the writers’ way of getting Chloe out of the larger Superman mythos?

I think it will be a shame if he keeps Chloe in the dark about his powers, with all that they have been through.
The show would not be the same without Chloe! So much of who Clark is, is because oh Chloe and their friendship. Besides his parents, she is the one thats been there for him. It would be dissapointing to see that the writers are to erase 7 seasons of the show!!
