This scene sets the tie between Brainiac and Dax-Ur, the “other Kryptonian” hiding on earth.
Dax-Ur is in possession of a blue kryptonite that allows him to be mere human. It makes one wonder why a Kryptonian would be hiding, and giving up his powers, on earth.
Smallville episode 7.10 “Persona” airs this Thursday, January 31. This is a much-awaited episode, as the show has been in suspended animation for the holiday and the lengthy strike.
