Leaked HEROES Clips!!! Chandra Suresh on the “Force”
November 5, 2009 by Grace
What’s the connection between Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and Samuel (Robert Knepper)?! There was a twist on the last scene from Monday’s episode that showed the death of Mohinder Suresh. What a way to come back to the show, right? Riddled with what looked like bullet shots, at the hands of the earthmover Samuel.
The four videos below might clue us in on the link between Suresh and Samuel. These are old footages from the Coyote Sands Relocation Center (“1961”) where Chandra Suresh (Ravi Kapoor), Mohinder’s father, used to work at back in 1961, and it looks like the Company were privy to an earthshaking phenomenon back then.
On March 5th 1961, Chandra discovers a “force” that emanates from people with powers. It’s dangerous enough to house so many people with special abilities but to discover that these individuals“attract” each other is even more alarming.
And there’s more.
On Suresh’s next entry (entry #5), he was about to explain more about the “force” when an earthquake interrupts him. Watch the video clips after the cut.

Adrian Pasdar’s Cut from HEROES Is Not Surprising
November 4, 2009 by Grace
It looks like Adrian Pasdar’s character on HEROES, Nathan Petrelli, isn’t just getting killed. We’ve heard “major character deaths” so many times in this show that we all know they come back sooner or later. At least those whose names are mentioned in the pre-episode credits. But it looks like that’s going to change soon.
Adrian Pasdar is getting fired! At leas that’s the reveal that come from E! Online writer Kristin Dos Santos. And this one has the makings of a nasty end. Apparently, Adrian is pissed.
Adrian Pasdar’s Nathan Petrelli is the major character death happening on Heroes this season, and no, he wasn’t told he was getting fired, he learned about it from a script.
Rumor has it that Adrian will get paid through to the end of the season, so maybe Nathan is really not getting killed for good, at least until the season ends. But even so, none of this should surprise us (or Adrian). I have nothing but respect for the actor as he’s one of the cast who brings depth into his character, but Nathan’s storyline has gone down the drain since the writers thought of killing him last season and then putting him into Sylar. I mean, in all reality (HEROES reality, I mean, whatever that it), Nathan Petrelli is dead. Was dead since months ago. It’s only his mind (persona, essence, memories… whatever) that lives in Sylar’s body. How long can that last, really? Once Sylar gets his mind back from Matt Parkman, that’s the end of Nathan. He just can not exist anymore.
Of course, HEROES can resurrect him and re-make him into another character but… been there done that… he is not Tracy/Niki/Jessica. Adrian’s character also hasn’t grown much since two seasons ago. Nathan hasn’t progressed from being an insecure, selfish power-hungry politician into something better or worse. Most of the other characters have changed (even Hiro) but Nathan has remained essentially the same. And that can get old after four seasons. So, as sad as it is that Adrian is being let go, but it is time to bury Nathan Petrelli.

HEROES 4.10 “Brother’s Keeper” Episode Description
HEROES 4.10 “Brother’s Keeper”
Airdate November 16, 2009
Samuel now has an arsenal of heroes at the Carnival – Sylar (Zachary Quinto), Hiro (Masi Oka) and possibly even Tracy (Ali Larter), and he is getting more powerful as the episodes roll on. Just check out the episode summary for “Brother’s Keeper” –
THE TRUTH SETS OUR HEROES ON NEW AND DANGEROUS PATHS – Samuel (Robert Knepper) learns just how powerful he can become and takes dangerous measures to reach his full potential. Meanwhile, as Tracy (Ali Larter) begins to lose control of her ability, one of her own comes in harms way. Elsewhere, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) continues his battle with Matt (Greg Grunberg). Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Cristine Rose and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Kavi Ladnier, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ravi Kapoor and Andrew Connolly guest star.
If you saw the trailer for next Monday’s episode “Shadowboxing” you might be wondering, as I am, how Mohinder fell into Samuel’s trap, and worse, what exactly can Samuel do? It’s just so unfortunate that Sylar (or really, Nathan Petrelli inside Sylar) is still separated from his body, otherwise Samuel would be no match for him and won’t take advantage of him too. My guess is that split keeps him from fully reaching his villain potential, and being scary enough to pit against Samuel. And it looks like Sylar still won’t get his full faculties in this episode.

HEROES 4.08 “Once Upon A Time in Texas” – Six Sneak Peeks
HEROES 4.08 “Once Upon a Time in Texas”
Airdate November 2, 2009
This is a mindfield! As Samuel has said, this place in Texas is a mindfield and he’s making a tremendous sacrifice to make sure Hiro succeeds. Sylar is there, and so is Charlie. Noah and a beautiful woman are there too (in a motel room!).
So below are six webclips for HEROES episode “Once Upon a Time in Texas” and they are full of spoilers!
The first video sneak peek is at the Carnival. The resident Carnie time traveler Arnold is dying and Samuel (Robert Knepper) is desperate to get a replacement for him – Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) maybe? I’m not sure why Samuel needs Hiro now but he’s needed to “fix the past”. I wonder what Samuel is talking about.
The second sneak peek is at the Burnt Toast Diner. Hiro is surprised to find Samuel there. (He must have traveled back – and used Arnold to get there… for the last time, I bet.) Samuel challenges Hiro to consider not saving Charlie (Jayma Mays) because he was supposedly on a specific path and “the magnitude of [Hiro’s] endeavor” could change history.
The third sneak peek is a familiar scene from season one, when Charlie was opening a can of fruit cocktail and Sylar (Zachary Quinto) has his fingers poised to slice her head open. It still scares me!
The fourth scene has Charlie and Hiro meeting (again). Hiro must have interrupted Sylar’s plans! So Hiro invites Charlie on a trip around the world. Hiro says the most romantic thing – “I don’t want to spend one more minute apart from you.” But Charlie’s aneurism kicks in!
The fifth scene is rather different – that of Noah/H.R.G and a partner Lauren (Elizabeth Rohm). It does look like there’s something going on between them. Oh, for sure she has a crush on him. But I wonder if Noah stayed true to his wife. Lauren even made the move of booking a motel room but something interrupts her plans.
The sixth scene is again with Noah and Lauren, and they are in a motel room. I’m not saying anymore… Watch the webclips.

Hiro Gets to Kiss Charlie on HEROES Comeback!!!
October 28, 2009 by Grace
It’s really hard to get over your first love, isn’t it? That’s the case for love-struck Hiro Nakamura and Charlie. Hiro never really recovered after Charlie died. It took him most of season two and across a century of time travel to get his powers back, only to have it taken away again in season 3. And just when he rediscovered its use, Hiro’s brains gave up and now he has terminal brain cancer. All because he lost Charlie, that sweet Texan who captured his heart.
But now, Hiro gets another chance to save Charlie! What’s even better, Hiro gets to kiss the girl! In the episode “Once Upon A Time In Texas” (episode 4.08; November 2), Jayma Mays reprises her role as Charlie as Hiro goes back in time to make sure Sylar doesn’t get to Charlie and kill her.
Masi Oka sends a special quote of that episode –
"This was one of my favorite episodes of the series. I had the opportunity to explore the many layers of Hiro. It was truly wonderful working with Jayma again and I even got to play against a younger me. Ah, how naive we were. It’s an episode full of joy and tears. It’s Hiro’s Company Man and our homage to episode 8 in season 1. This scene is where Hiro finally gets his long awaited kiss. His dream upon the thousand cranes, the origami in his left hand, came true. But is there a happy ending? It’s Heroes after all. I hope you enjoy watching the episode as much as I had making it. Thank you!"
The Deadbolt gets the scoop on a photo showing Hiro Nakamura lip-locked with Charlie. Check it out by clicking on the image below.

HEROES Goes Green For November Sweeps
October 28, 2009 by Grace
I wonder how HEROES is going to add an environmental impact into one of its episodes? I just read from NBC that HEROES will have a special “green-themed” episode around November 15-22. That week’s episode is 4.10 “Brother’s Keeper”, so that might be a clue about the episode’s slant for that week. Maybe it’s about keeping the earth healthy, and we’re all in this together, or something to that effect.

Other NBC shows with a green theme are "The Biggest Loser," "Mercy," "Trauma," "Law & Order: SVU," "Parks and Recreation," "The Office," "30 Rock" and "Law & Order." NBC also released that its shows will have holiday themes this winter. Hmm, the episode before holiday breaks is aptly titled 4.11 “Thanksgiving” airing on November 23. Guest star Elizabeth Rohm (“Law & Order veteran) will come back for this episode to play her role as a former partner of H.R.G. We will first see Rohm in the coming episode “Once Upon A Time in Texas”.
Then in December, HEROES goes for a month-long break before returning on January 2010 with 4.12 “Upon This Rock” (that might have a religious meaning /holiday theme to it as well).
I wonder if having special episodes like these will have particular appeal to viewers? What do you say?

HEROES 4.09 “Shadowboxing” Episode Description

HEROES 4.09 “Shadowboxing”
Airdate November 9, 2009
Here you go! If you saw tonight’s episode on HEROES you would not want to miss anymore of this show! The stories are riveting, and it’s keeping us on the edge! What will happen to Claire now that her powers are exposed? How will Matt Parkman regain his body back from Sylar? The sneaky psychopath tricked him! And if you recall from two episodes down, Peter acquired Jeremy’s powers of death-and-life. Can Peter handle that kind of power to give life or take it?
Check out the episode summary for HEROES 4.09 “Shadowboxing” –
CLAIRE LEARNS THE TRUTH BEHIND THE ATTACKS AND SYLAR TAKES MATTERS INTO HIS OWN HANDS – JIMMY JEAN-LOUIS, MADELINE ZIMA, DEANNE BRAY, DAWN OLIVIERI AND TESSA THOMPSON GUEST STAR — Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is determined to get to the bottom of the Sorority Rush attacks on her own, until H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) intervenes only to realize he may be the source of her troubles. Meanwhile, Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) new ability is a perfect fit for his job and gives him the opportunity to help Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) accept her new life. Elsewhere, Sylar’s (Zachary Quinto) battle at gaining full control over Matt’s (Greg Grunberg) body escalates — with potentially dangerous implications at stake. Robert Knepper and Adrian Pasdar also star. Kat Purgal, Carlease Burke, Danica Stewart, Candice Patton, Sally Champlin and Assaf Cohen also guest star.
Let’s speculate! Peter’s first patient will be Emma and of course he restores her hearing! But would that remove her powers? Emma isn’t someone who is very open to change, so I wonder how she will take this, or if Peter will get to use his new powers on her.
I wonder what the writers mean that HRG is the cause of Claire’s trouble? Samuel had mentioned Jack previously as someone who had been on their tail. Is Samuel’s intentions for Claire because of her dad?
And of course, there’s Matt versus Sylar. This is just scary to think what Sylar can do to Matt’s body now that he owns it! I don’t like the sound of “potentially dangerous implications at stake”. When it comes to Sylar, you just know it’s catastrophic.
[This post was corrected to show that Emma is deaf, not blind. Thanks RP.

“Wonder Twins, activate!!!!” Nostalgia hits from watching the Saturday- morning cartoon Super Friends back in the ‘80s! And guess what, The Wonder Twins are coming to SMALLVILLE!
Check out the episode summary for SMALLVILLE’s episode “Idol” -
DC COMICS “THE WONDER TWINS” SHOW UP TO HELP CLARK CLEAN UP METROPOLIS — Superhero twins Zan (guest star David Gallagher) and Jayna (guest star Allison Scagliotti) show up in Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime but end up botching several rescues, landing Clark (Tom Welling) in hot water with the District Attorney’s office. Here’s a webclip for this Friday’s episode on SMALLVILLE. The scene is at the Luthor Mansion, where Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman) is hosting an unveiling of the “world’s first completely self-sustaining solar tower”. Then Zod applauds her effort and lauds about making his dream a reality, that of harnessing the powers of the sun.
