On May 16, the second of C. S. Lewis’ beloved “Chronicles of Narnia”, Prince Caspian, opens in over 3000 theaters all across the country.
Not exactly a superhero, but heroes nonetheless and children of all ages are still loving this classic tale of good versus evil.
The four Pevensie children – Kings and Queens of Narnia at her glory – have been back to England for a year. Trying to move on with their lives, the children could never forget their lifetime adventure in the enchanted world. But in Narnia, more than a thousand years have passed, and the inhabitants have all but forgotten about the four children, and Aslan.
Then one day, someone summons the children back to Narnia, in the middle of an impending war between talking beasts and men.
The rightful heir to the throne of Narnia – Prince Caspian – is on a run for his life. His uncle King Miraz has seized the throne.
The children, the prince and enchanted inhabitants of Narnia take to arms to fight for their freedom and very lives.
Aslan! Someone has also summoned the Lion to Narnia.
Narnia Chronicles: Prince Caspian is directed by Andrew Adamson. Major cast member include Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) and Sergio Castelitto (King Miraz), and returning casts from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – Georgie Henley (Lucy Pevensie), Skandar Keynes (Edmund Pevensie), Willian Moseley (Peter Pevensie), Anna Popplewell (Susan Pevensie). Screenplay is by Andrew Adamson and Christopher Markus.
