Heroes season 3 spoilers on lead characters

by Grace on June 20th, 2008

Here are some more tidbits I picked up about Heroes for season 3:

SPOILERS ALERT!

Adam Monroe. David Anders is coming back. Uhm, we know this already but it’s good to hear it from the man himself. David will be appearing in one of the first six episodes of season 3.

Noah Bennet. He is still incarcerated at Level Five in the company facility, and that’s where all the villains are staying. Jack Coleman says he’s not one of them, but more than likely be their bounty hunter.

Claire Bennet. She will try to use her powers for the greater good rather than just blend in and be anonymous. So she is finally stepping out, as she vowed in the last few episodes of season 2.

Mohinder Suresh. His mild-mannered days are over! Oooh, now that would be dangerously attractive.*wink*

Hiro Nakamura. After his father’s death, he will now be planted at the Yamagato Industries but will be very unhappy taking over his father’s business and needs the quest.

Matt Parkman. According to executive producer Allan Arkush, Matt is going to be “flashing someplace” and it’s one of the cool surprises of the season. Arkush adds that season 3 will explore the “genetic essence of the power” - where it came from and how it affects the beholders.

There is also a scene from a footage shown at the Jules Verne Festival where several heroes appear dead, caused by “12 Sylars running free”. Peter Petrelli is a corpse in a pool of blood. Hiro is pinned to the wall with his own sword, lifeless and Matt has his throat cut open. (BuddyTV)

Why do those heroes have to die? I thought that the whole show will last 6 seasons. Is it gonna be the plot or is it just another view of the possible future? Why did Peter die when in fact he already has Claire’s power of advanced cell regeneration. And why did Hiro die when in fact he has greater powers than what Sylar has, he could stop time and do whatever he wants, it’s not like Sylar has Hiro’s powers just like Peter, as of now, the two heroes can’t possibly be killed by Sylar.

Well, suppose that Sylar and Peter fought. It would be a close battle, but even with Claire’s powers, Peter can be killed. If Sylar cuts off his head or blows it off or something like that, then as Adam said “there’s no coming back”. And say that happened, then Sylar would get Peter’s power and then he could kill Hiro easily, just creep up, be near him, thus getting Hiro’s powers, and using them against Hiro he could easily just impale Hiro with his own sword. If they want to make it happen, they can…
