‘Heroes’ needs Spanish-speaking translator

by Grace on August 14th, 2007

Hanna Gittelman, otherwise known as Wireless, resurfaced last week with a news story that caught her eye. It’s from South America and she’s looking for a spanish speaker who can translate the following article below.

This might be an interesting clue about the identity of new Heroes’ characters Maya (Dania Ramirez)and her twin Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz).

All the inhabitants of a remote town located to the south of the Vaupes River were found dead by tourists/travellers that were exploring the mountainous zones of the Chiribiquete National Park. The tourists/excursionists, a man and woman from the west of the US, discovered the macabre scene when they arrived at the town and described it as ‘something that only the devil could have done’. The couple prefer to remain anonymous.

Exploring the scene greater, discovering dozens of bodies, which was like something out of a film right before your eyes.

We saw the town from the mountains and as we were running out of water we decided to go down to it and re-fill. At the entrance to the place there was no signs of life. It was almost as all life had stopped and the world had followed in its direction.

A team of medics, was sent to the place, but it was never announced the cause of this tragedy.

The area, that for some time was thought to serve the Borjas Cartel as a hide out, and is known to be rich in natural resources.

Many of the indigenous people that live in this area, speculate that the residents of the town were used as peons between the Borjas Cartels, and some manufactures that wanted to appropriate this remote region.

Up until the moment of publishing this article, there has been no living survivors.
