Heroes - its list of awards and nominations 2007
Heroes, the hit TV show every other network is copying this year, is getting a lot of notices from small and large award bodies alike.
This year, Heroes and its cast has been nominated for different categories from the Emmys, SyFy Genre, Teen Choice, TV Critics’, and Saturn awards.
WINS (so far)
1. 33rd annual Saturn Awards. “Heroes” won Best Network Television Series and two of the stars of the show received honors (Masi Oka – Best Supporting Actor, and Hayden Panettiere – Best Supporting Actress) from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.
2. TV Critics’ Awards. NBC’s “Heroes” received a trophy for Program of the Year from the members of the Television Critics Association.
3. Teen Choice. “Heroes” got the nod for Breakout show of the year, and Hayden Panettiere was the Teen choice TV Actress.
COMING AWARDS
4. SyFy Genre Awards. Nominations have been closed so stay tuned for the announcement of winners.
5. 59th Primetime Emmys. Perhaps, one of the most important awards for Heroes, the awards night will be on September 16th at FOX, so we’re definitely keeping count.
6. Spike TV’s Scream 2007. “Heroes” got 8 nominations with the recent announcement.
