Heroes highlight: Is Elle dead for real?
I’m still reeling from Monday’s death trip at "Heroes". I can’t believe Kristen Bell is off the list. Elle Bishop died, and just when we were warming up to her story with Sylar.

There is something beautiful about two damaged goods finding love and hope with each other. That’s what Elle and Sylar were to most fans, I think. Maybe I’m a sucker for true love no matter who’s involved. But the story of Elle and Sylar/Gabriel was so wonderfully written (kudos to that writer) and to end it so abruptly was heartless! (Hear that other writer?)
After all of Sylar’s speech of having a home and family, and that possibly better future we saw in "I am Become Death", the villain turns around again, tick-tock-tick-tock, and slices Elle.
But wait! (screech!!!! Rewind effect!), did we actually see Elle die? There really was no reason for Sylar to slice her brain because he already has her powers. Doesn’t he know how to empathize and get someone’s powers without killing! So what was that screaming Elle we heard on Monday?!
A commenter at BuddyTV says Elle appears in a later episode, and sure enough, Kristen Bell’s name appears in "Our Father". E! Online hints that maybe Elle Bishop isn’t really done for good.
We can only hope again, that there is a future to Elle and Sylar. After all, Gabriel did have a son named Noah in the future.

I don’t think anyone who died in this episode was meant to stay dead. I feel confident that Elle will be back, and soon.

If they’d want to get rid of Elle, they could’ve done it a lot better then that…

elle and angela P are the only ones who ever had a chance at taming sylar/gabriel. s/g has turned against angela thanks to daddy P but if they kill elle he’ll b long gone forever. This part is called villians, and so maybe when this part is over he stops being a villian but he would need elle 4 that so i know she cannot be dead.

Well, Maybe it was just a shape-shifter Because it didn’t act like Elle ever since she was at Bennet’s house. So I think it was just a shape-shifter. She will be in The Episode Called “Our Father”

Hmm… I doubt that it was a Shapeshifter in the Bennet household, because she still had her Electricity power. Maybe her injured hip caused her one or two problems.
Also, am I the only one thinking Sylar is slicing her head open for another reason other than to steal her power… Perhaps because she has some idea over Sylar’s problemed background, I mean Noah did mention something about Elle knowing… … Something. You know him and his fragile personality, perhaps her keeping back something turns him from a passionate lover to a mindless killer.

didnt any of you even notice he didn’t open her up? he stopped… but he did damage her body another way. lighting her on fire. even last week he didnt finish the slicing. hmm maybe i saw it and many missed it? not sure. but i think shes gone. and what the had wasnt beautiful. he was, his opening up made him seem renewed … she was playing him. playing games, and even if she did feel sensitive toward him, she messed up by being dishonest. nobody knows where she is… she is gone. or…. trapped. either one. sylar owns her now. haha

Shes dead but she can come back because her body is only burnt and not completely incinerated so someone could injct her with healing blood, or someone could go back in time to save her e.g. Sylar himself due to real love if heget Hiro’s ability.
