Heroes episode “.07%” was awesome!
My apologies for not giving recaps of Heroes’ comeback episode last Monday… work@ the office has ‘distracted’ me.
But I’ll say this - that was one heart-racing episode!
Here’s what we now know (if you haven’t seen it yet… get with the program video-here!) :
1. Linderman has powers to rejuvenate and heal. But his reasoning is as crooked as ever. He’s behind The Company, and Bennet doesn’t know that. He thinks destroying New York and putting Nathan in the White House will rally the world to a new order or peace and hope. Looks anti-christ to me.
2. Nathan Petrelli is sold out to Linderman (me thinks). He is running for Congress and wants the White House. He wants Claire out of his life until after the elections so there’s no hindrance/distractions to his ambitions.
3. Peter Petrelli absorbed more powers. But only after being “killed” by Sylar and “resurrected” by newly-found niece Claire. He now thinks he’s invincible as long as she’s around. ‘Cute family’, these Petrellis.
4. Linderman recruits Jessica/Niki’s son Micah for something only the boy can do. What it is, we’ll know in the next episodes.
5. Sylar kills Isaac, gets his powers and paints himself a new future - as president of the United States.
6. Other characters are flocking to New York, beginning with nuclear-Ted, mind-reader Matt and HRG.
7. Hiro gets to the future and meets himself. They find each other in Isaac’s apartment, which looked like a stringed-web and a timeline of events foretelling that New York was indeed destroyed. (read novel for more) In that future, Sylar was the bomb, and future-Hiro killed him but Sylar regenerated because he had killed Claire. So future-Hiro went five years back to stop Claire’ slaughter with Peter’s help. And sadly came back to a future that didn’t change.
And that’s where he met present-Hiro.
What piqued my interest? Well, aside from “What’s next” with the whole series, a few trivia that keep me wondering -
1. What will Isaac’s last and final comics reveal? What does he know about Sylar’s future death?
2. Can the future really not be changed? Or did Hiro change it when he went back? Or did Sylar change it when he took Isaac’s power?
3. What exactly can Micah do? I don’t think we’ve begun to see the immensity of his powers.
I was wrong about Mrs. Petrelli being super-powered…or at least she hasn’t display anything yet.
Next week’s episode is set into the future “Five Years Gone“. Friends become enemies and enemies become friends. Nathan’s at the White House. Mohinder’s in charge of some big genome experiment. Hiro learns more from Hiro.

The most obvious reason why Linderman need Micah is that the Logic bomb was destroyed by Samantha and he needs Micah and his electronic skills to fix it or make a new logic bomb to make the election as Linderman wants.

Micah’s power is controlling machines and Linderman wants him to rig Nathan’s election.
