Helen Slater talks about Smallville “Lara”
Oh my, there are a lot of major spoilers in this interview of Helen Slater, the original Supergirl.
Slater is playing in the title role of “Lara” on tonight’s episode 6 of Smallville. TV Guide interviewed Slater and reveals these spoilers!
- We will first meet her as a pregnant Lara in this flashback
- Lara will go through a portal to check out the Kent family where Kal-El will be raised
- A nice passing-of-the-torch so to speak, Kara, played by Laura Vandervoort, will make the trip with Lara
- What the two ladies learn in the past may be Clark’s only hope for a future after someone else from his bloodline shows up in what Slater describes as an “intense, highly stylized episode” next week
- The rivalry between Jor-El and Zor-El will revolve around Lara
- The brother Zor-El is this evil, mad scientist who has figured out how to replicate Lara’s DNA in this crystal.
As we’ll find out tonight, Zor-El left that crystal with his daughter Kara when he sent her to earth. Does Kara know of her dad’s evil schemes?
