Hayden Panettiere breaks down, witnesses slaughter of whales
November 13, 2007 by Grace
“I couldn’t believe how red the water was,” said Panettiere. “The whales were so scared. Hopefully their deaths won’t be in vain.”
I am so touched by what this gal is passionate about.
Hayden Panettiere is HERO in real life. So much so that she broke down in tears at a Japan beach when she saw how pilot whales were being slaughtered. Along with an international group of protesters, Hayden paddled out in a pre-dawn ceremony to honor over 25,000 dolphins killed each year in Japan. Unplanned, they witnessed up close, in blood-stained water, as Japanese fishermen slaughtered over 30 pilot whales.

Hayden Panettiere is spokesperson of the Save the Whales Again. She’s not just speaking for them, she is going out, protesting and raising awareness to save these lovely mammals called whales and dolphins.
