‘Fantastic Four’ - #1 weekend flick
This year’s sequel of ‘Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer’ surpassed the first installation of last year and became number 1 for a weekend opener at $57.4 million tickets sold.
Cool. I mean, hot. :-)
In fact, Fantastic Four topped Ocean’s Thirteen, which got to only $19.2M in its second weekend, and Knocked Up at $14.5M.
I definitely think it’s the Silver Surfer that’s causing a lot of buzz.
