“Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen” will open in Madrid and Paris, and many parts of the world, on June 24. The opening date for US theaters will be on June 22.

“Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen” World Tour – South Korea

The cast of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” continue their world tour promotion of the film in Seoul, South Korea.

Director Michael Bay and lead actors Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox braved the rain at a red carpet appearance and press call. Show-stopper Megan was stunning in a fitting black cocktail at the arrivals, and a frilly dress at the press conference.

When asked what “Transformers 2” is all about, Michael Bay commented that it was a very fun movie to make, with far-superior robots, more high tech CGs, one of the biggest movies Paramount ever made, but it was not “just an explosion-fest”. “Transformers” returns with a vengeance, a resurrected Megatron and an organic female robot! The sequel titled, “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen” maps out the plot for the viewers: the Decepticons® come back to wreak havoc on earth. Just what makes them come back?

Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). Again. College-freshman Sam begins having visions about the Transformers’ role on earth’s first civilizations, and the Decepticons® want that information. So the battle rages on and takes a climactic turn at the Gaza Pyramids of Egypt!

The main cast returns for the sequel:

Shia LeBeouf is Sam Witwicky
Megan Fox is Mikaela Banes
Josh Duhamel as Captain William Lennox
Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps
John Turturro is Reggie Simmons
and some sixty robots, including returning Autobots® Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Ratchet and Jetfire; and the Decepticons® headed by a more powerful Megatron, and Starscream.

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” opens on June 24 at American theaters, and June 19 in the UK. Directed by Michael Bay and produced by Stephen Spielberg, the film is given a PG Rating of 13 for “intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material”. “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” Tokyo Premiere

One of my most anticipated summer movie is almost here, but I’m mighty jealous of Tokyo because they’re going to see it before we do!

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” had its Tokyo premiere today, and the stars were on the red carpet to greet screaming fans! Everyone of the major cast were there, including Shia LaBeouf still tending his injured hand, Josh Duhamel enjoying his fans, and of course director Michael Bay. Megan Fox, in an off-shoulder gown, displays a prominent tattoo of Marilyn Monroe on her right forearm! Other cast – Tyrese Gibson, Isabel Lucas and Ramon Rodriguez also appeared for the world premiere. There’s even a special appearance by the Autobot Bumble Bee!
