Paramount just announced that the street date for “Star Trek” DVD and Blu-ray will be November 17th!
I saw “Star Trek” on IMAX and was so blown away I can’t wait for the disc to come out, especially since the Blu-Ray has three discs worth of cool features!

This is delicious! All you Zach Quinto fans would love these photos of the actor !  The date was around June 5th when the cast of “Star Trek” went to Mexico to promote the film. The poses look like they’re for a photoshoot but there is nothing in the caption that says what magazine it was for. But anyway, I still love them!

“Star Trek” is just two short days away and it’s exciting to see so much publicity being released! Photos, video clips, coverage, premieres… I saw a behind-the-scene photo of JJ Abrams talking with his actors aboard a Starfleet and I was floored about how the set looked so real! What wouldit  be like to walk on a set like that, huh?

Star Trek’s new Spock aka Zachary Quinto makes an appearance on the “Late Night with David Letterman” tonight April 28. It would be great to see Zachary doing the TV promotion rounds for Star Trek. I haven’t seen him go the circuit yet. I wonder what spoiler clip he’ll be showing! Last night on Jay Leno’s show, guest star Eric Bana revealed that his character Nero came back from the future to hunt down an elderly Spock. I guess the Romulan has a grudge with the Vulcan.

Star Trek – movie In theaters – May 8, 2009

“Star Trek” premieres all over the world in a few weeks and the cast are doing the round-about to promote the film. In Paris, the lady and the gentlemen were all there as they appear for a photocall on April 14.
The opening date of Star Trek in France is on May 6, 2009.

Star Trek – movie Release Date: May 8, 2009 (US)
Paramount released several clips of the film that show glimpses of the main character’s personalities.
The first Star Trek clip “Disease and Danger” (at Yahoo! Movies) showed Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy (Karl Urban) getting all antsy as a shuttle prepares to take off with passengers, and he happens to sit beside James Kirk (Chris Pine). Ugh, Urban sounds so convincing with the popping-eyeballs comment!

Excitement over Star Trek is so infectious it’s crazy waiting for it to come in three weeks. I’ve never been a serious fan of the original cast and I watched more Piccard than Kirk episodes, but this new movie is something I really want to see!
