Jamming, live on stage, Masi did come split heavy beatboxing and Milo quickly learned to work the didge, the world’s oldest wind instrument.

Later, Milo and Masi took a break from the publicity tour to sight-see some of Sydney’s beauty. Looking very handsome is Milo, watching the waves break at a bridge.

In an interview, Milo confided that Masi would love to hug a wombat, but he wants to “spend sometime with” a Koala.

Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka left Australia on September 3, to finish the next 14 episodes in Season 3, for a total of 25 episodes in all. This net set of episodes must be for Volume 4 already, titled “Fugitives“.

Now, if only Milo would actually smile for the cameras. Why does this guy rarely break into a smile? We know he loves what he’s doing, but Milo is just so serious. And the contrast is never so obvious as when the bubbly Masi Oka poses with him. More pictures after the jump.

Milo Ventimiglia’s Peter Petrelli and Masi Oka’s Hiro Nakamura are two of the most recognizable characters on Heroes. Peter Petrelli absorbs powers from just about every post-human/evolved human (EH) but lost all memory of his identity and powers in season 2. On the other hand, time-traveler Hiro Nakamura overused his powers back in season 1 finale and ended up in ancient Japan to fill in the shoes of his personal hero Takezo Kensei.

The season 2 of Heroes, titled “Generations” was released on DVD last August 26. We criticized season 2 so much you’d think no one would buy it anymore. On the contrary, the DVDs flew off the shelves so fast (at least at BJs Wholesale, where an extra $5 off was offered). If you still don’t have a copy,

Milo Ventimiglia tends to lean toward playing roles that challenge him, despite any stigma that may be attached to it. The actor played a gay teenager in the short film Must Be the Music (1996), and a transgender in the horror film Cursed (2005), and the gay dudes just love him.

Of course they love Milo shirtless too, like he did several times last season on Heroes. As Peter Petrelli, he was "shirtless, greased up, dirty, in a tank, and doesn’t know who he is" in the premiere episode "Four Months Later". But that wasn’t the last time he had no shirt on! 

"But then I did several scenes following that where I’m tied up to a chair, having buckets of water thrown on me, and the shit beat out of me, and I’m like, I still have my shirt off? OK.

Then I escape, so there was the question of, Well, does Peter grab a shirt when he runs out the door or not? And once he has the shirt, does he leave it open or closed? You do start to wonder, but if it works, it works.

So it would follow that Milo is ready for whatever the script takes. The volume 3 of Heroes ("Villains") would be quite interesting for Milo’s character, as "Peter Petrelli is not quite himself this season". Is Heroes ready for a gay hero? In this deleted scene, you’re about to find out exactly what Kaito can do. This is from Heroes volume 2: Generations, episode 1 “Four Months Later”.

In his own words, Kaito admits that he can analyze the variables in a situation and predict the outcome. That’s how he made money off the stock market. And to show exactly how, Kaito opened a newspaper to the stock market page and visualized several numbers. So essentially, he removed noise, unwanted variables. Unfortunately, this is also the scene where a picture of his, marked with the symbol in blood, fell off that same newspaper.

That’s NOT how it would have been. In this alternate ending, Adam dropped and vial and it broke, releasing the virus to the air. It quickly spreads just as Peter, Nathan and Matt arrive on the scene and see people are dying.

Through Matt’s mind control, the trio succeed in getting the police to quarantine Odessa, Texas. Nathan calls for a press conference to tell the world of the new threat, and the world witness him succumbing to the virus.

I don’t understand why the Heroes execs deleted this because it’s one of the most poignant I’ve seen of the second volume.

This is the deleted scene about Nathan Petrelli’s recovery. Recall from season 1 that Nathan flew the exploding Peter away from Kirby Plaza. Peter exploded and Nathan had third degree burns that destroyed his face. He is now in rehab but there is no hope of recovery. His wife and two boys visit him.

Kristen Bell was a recurrent guest star on Heroes season 2, but her schedule didn’t work out for this season’s “Villain”. She assures fans we will still see her in at least five episodes but hopes she can really come back. “If I have my way I’ll be back on Heroes! I love that job!”

And Milo calls the previous as “one of the pillars that hold up the house”, once we look at it from the bigger picture. Uhm, I guess so…
