"Heroes" on tour: Milo Ventimiglia and Masi in Sydney, Australia
Heroes cast members Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka visited Australia to promote the show’s new season and mingle with fans. By ‘new season’ I meant that “Heroes volume 2:Generations” DVD is coming out in the US. The same volume of Heroes will also kick off SCI FI Australia’s expansion into widescreen format. Milo and Masi attended a SCI FI cocktail party, under the glow of the Sydney Opera House.
Jamming, live on stage, Masi did come split heavy beatboxing and Milo quickly learned to work the didge, the world’s oldest wind instrument.
Later, Milo and Masi took a break from …read more
Hayden Panettiere to present at Emmys
September 5, 2008 by Grace
Hayden Panettiere joined the list of new stars presenting at this year’s 60th Primetime Emmys Awards. Hayden’s ensemble show Heroes got three nominations from its season 2 run, but nothing for the major awards. I’m not familiar with how well the competition is for those categories, but I’ll rooting for Heroes.
Other presenters in the roster now include America Ferrera, (Ugly Betty), Laurence Fishburne (new at CSI), Jennifer Love Hewitt, William Petersen (CSI) and Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty), among others.
Which awards from the Primetime 2008 Emmys is Heroes nominated in? Check the list after the jump.
Heroes’ Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka meet Sydney fans!
September 2, 2008 by Grace
Aussie fans of the NBC show Heroes get a special visit from Masi Oka and Milo Ventimiglia, when the duo promoted the Heroes season 2 DVD in Sydney on September 2.
Now, if only Milo would actually smile for the cameras. Why does this guy rarely break into a smile? We know he loves what he’s doing, but Milo is just so serious. And the contrast is never so obvious as when the bubbly Masi Oka poses with him. More pictures after the jump.
Milo Ventimiglia on his gay following and being shirtless on "Heroes"
August 29, 2008 by Grace
The Advocate.com obviously loves Milo Ventimiglia, and Brandon Voss talked to the Heroes actor about his big gay following, and the idea of a gay superhero, and being shirtless on Heroes.
Image used with permission by NBC/Chris Haston
Milo Ventimiglia tends to lean toward playing roles that challenge him, despite any stigma that may be attached to it. The actor played a gay teenager in the short film Must Be the Music (1996), and a transgender in the horror film Cursed (2005), and the gay dudes just love him.
Of course they love Milo shirtless too, like he did several times last season …read more
Heroes volume 2: deleted scenes "Kaito’s powers"
August 11, 2008 by Grace
We know Kaito Nakamura is one of the posthumans. He has powers that were never revealed up to his death. Not even his son Hiro knew about them.
In this deleted scene, you’re about to find out exactly what Kaito can do. This is from Heroes volume 2: Generations, episode 1 “Four Months Later”.
In his own words, Kaito admits that he can analyze the variables in a situation and predict the outcome. That’s how he made money off the stock market. And to show exactly how, Kaito opened a newspaper to the stock market page and visualized several …read more
Heroes volume 2 DVD: Alternate ending "Powerless"
August 11, 2008 by Grace
Heroes volume 2 was truncated because of the writer’s strike. The televised finale episode “Powerless” started with Adam Monroe dropping the vial with the Shanti virus just as Hiro Nakamura touched him. In slow mo, Peter Petrelli jumped to catch the vial just in time. Whew. The heroes went home knowing that they just saved the world from another catastrophe. Nathan Petrelli decides to go public to tell the world about The Company and a special kind of people – posthumans – with special abilities. And then he gets shot.
That’s NOT how it would have been. In this …read more
Heroes volume 2: Deleted scenes "family visit"
August 10, 2008 by Grace
DarkPhoenic321 got hold of the Heroes season 2 DVD much earlier than most of us, and he uploaded it for everyone to see. (Thanks, man!)
I don’t understand why the Heroes execs deleted this because it’s one of the most poignant I’ve seen of the second volume.
This is the deleted scene about Nathan Petrelli’s recovery. Recall from season 1 that Nathan flew the exploding Peter away from Kirby Plaza. Peter exploded and Nathan had third degree burns that destroyed his face. He is now in rehab but there is no hope of recovery. His wife and two boys visit him. …read more

Heroes: Milo Ventimiglia defends season 2
“Season 3 is gonna melt your head”.
Interpret that how you will, but that’s what Milo Ventimiglia referred to about the Heroes season 3.
And Milo calls the previous as “one of the pillars that hold up the house”, once we look at it from the bigger picture. Uhm, I guess so…
Check out the rest of his interview at the NBC Universale party.
Heroes Poll: Would you like to see more episodes this season?
February 23, 2008 by Grace
With the WGA strike over and lots of shows coming back on TV to finish off the season, Heroes is the one show we all want to see back. Before the strike began, we were supposed to get a full season instead of the 11 we got. And then there is “Heroes: Origins” which got canceled.
Word is, there are only 3 more episodes this season but Tim Kring thought doing it would be creatively disastrous.
WHAT DO THE FANS SAY?
{democracy:8}
And why do you want it? Let’s talk more in the comment.
