Here you go! If you saw tonight’s episode on HEROES you would not want to miss anymore of this show! The stories are riveting, and it’s keeping us on the edge! What will happen to Claire now that her powers are exposed? How will Matt Parkman regain his body back from Sylar? The sneaky psychopath tricked him! And if you recall from two episodes down, Peter acquired Jeremy’s powers of death-and-life. Can Peter handle that kind of power to give life or take it?

CLAIRE LEARNS THE TRUTH BEHIND THE ATTACKS AND SYLAR TAKES MATTERS INTO HIS OWN HANDS – JIMMY JEAN-LOUIS, MADELINE ZIMA, DEANNE BRAY, DAWN OLIVIERI AND TESSA THOMPSON GUEST STAR — Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is determined to get to the bottom of the Sorority Rush attacks on her own, until H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) intervenes only to realize he may be the source of her troubles. Meanwhile, Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) new ability is a perfect fit for his job and gives him the opportunity to help Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) accept her new life. Elsewhere, Sylar’s (Zachary Quinto) battle at gaining full control over Matt’s (Greg Grunberg) body escalates — with potentially dangerous implications at stake. Robert Knepper and Adrian Pasdar also star. Kat Purgal, Carlease Burke, Danica Stewart, Candice Patton, Sally Champlin and Assaf Cohen also guest star.

Let’s speculate! Peter’s first patient will be Emma and of course he restores her hearing! But would that remove her powers? Emma isn’t someone who is very open to change, so I wonder how she will take this, or if Peter will get to use his new powers on her.

I wonder what the writers mean that HRG is the cause of Claire’s trouble? Samuel had mentioned Jack previously as someone who had been on their tail. Is Samuel’s intentions for Claire because of her dad?

And of course, there’s Matt versus Sylar. This is just scary to think what Sylar can do to Matt’s body now that he owns it! I don’t like the sound of “potentially dangerous implications at stake”. When it comes to Sylar, you just know it’s catastrophic.

What did you think of tonight’s episode on HEROES? I thought it was clever how of the writers to make you think one thing and then to bring out something else you didn’t expect. And “Tabula Rasa” had several of those tonight. Like Sylar/Gabriel for example. And Hiro’s illness.

OK let’s recap first and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Sylar/Gabriel in the Carnie family. So Samuel (Robert Knepper) “adopted” Gabriel (Zachary Quinto) in he knew instantly there was something wrong about Sylar’s personality. Samuel has heard of “Sylar, the most powerful among us” and the person standing in front of him felt anything but. Although Sylar displayed his powers unintentionally, he was really more confused, scared and depressed than ever. So Samuel thought he would jumpstart Sylar’s mind. Samuel asks Damian (guest star Harry Perry) to show Sylar who he really is. Inside the House of Mirrors, Sylar was shown his heinous crimes – killing his mom, taking people’s brains out. But Sylar saw himself as the monster that he has been afraid of all this time! Instead of opening his mind and embracing his identity, Gabriel was even more confused and scared. Samuel even manipulated Gabriel to kill the detective who was tracking him. Instead, Gabriel warned the man to get out of the carnival as fast as he can. Unfortunately, Edgar (Ray Park) got to the cop and killed him. At the end of the night, Samuel took Gabriel in and baptized him into the Carnival family. Edgar complained that they have a tiger in their midst who doesn’t know how to kill, but Samuel took that as an opportunity to mold this new Gabriel/Sylar into their liking.

What Samuel never realized (and of course the viewers do) is that the man inside Sylar’s body is not him – it’s Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar). When Samuel had asked him what he wants to be called, Sylar first thought of “Nathan, call me Nathan”. Sylar identified with the sounds of military planes passing by – he recalls flying an aircraft like that, and for a fleeting moment, Sylar’s face shifted to look like Nathan’s. Sylar also thought he might have been a politician before. Plus, Sylar got attracted to Lydia (Dawn Olivieri), a trait that is more Nathan than Sylar.

So this gets really interesting! Nathan’s memories are inside Sylar’s body, and yet previously when Sylar took on Nathan’s form, it felt foreign to think of Nathan’s memories as his. Weird twist but very interesting.
I was waiting for this episode to get Sylar-the-villain back, but that would have been too easy (and too early in the season). This twist gives the writers opportunity to weave Sylar and Samuel’s fates – who is the real villain. We’ll have to see who emerges out of Sylar in the end.

  Hiro, Peter and Emma and Noah. Hiro (Masi Oka) teleported to Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) apartment just before fainting. It’s not clear yet why Hiro went toward Peter – did Peter need help? “No.”(“Yes, really, c’mon). Maybe Peter is supposed to help a dying Hiro. So Peter absorbs Hiro’s powers and teleports to Noah’s (Jack Coleman) house to ask help from the Company man. Funny thing is, Peter ends up in the bathroom (his teleporting skills are rusty!). It just so happens that Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is in her dad’s apartment to do laundry. Peter explains Hiro’s condition and Claire volunteers her blood to heal Hiro (the same question on every fan’s mind!). Noah advises against that idea since Claire’s blood is regenerative – it will only make the tumor grow faster. Oh. But Noah knows a boy – Jeremy Greer (guest star Mark L. Young)- who can help Hiro, so Peter and Noah vanish into thin air and teleport to Georgia.

Earlier, Peter had introduced Hiro to Emma (Deanne Bray) as someone who can answer all her questions about powers and abilities and Hiro gets ingenious in teaching Emma that her abilities are not a curse but a gift to help others. Pretending to be Hiro the Magnificent, Hiro performs magic tricks in front of patients and hospital staff. He stops time to make Emma see that his powers can be about helping people. When Emma asks him how he keeps such a positive attitude, Hiro remembers Charlie, who taught him about joy in the midst of adversity. And that’s when Hiro had an epiphany!

Meanwhile, Peter and Noah arrive in Georgia and find Jeremy Greer’s house to be in shambles. Plants and animals around the house were either dead or dying. Inside, Noah and Peter find Jeremy’s parents dead in their seats. Something had happened to Jeremy’s powers so everything he touches dies! Noah tells Jeremy he has both powers – to give life and take it back. The frightened young boy has a big rifle aimed at Noah and unfortunately, it goes off and hits Peter right in the chest! Noah pleads with the young man to heal Peter – that he has it in him to do it – and Jeremy does! Whew. I thought Peter was a goner.

Peter absorbs Jeremy’s healing powers and goes back to New York (this time, the normally slow way). Noah asks to be left behind and get Jeremy’s life in order. He had bagged and tagged Jeremy four years back and erased his memories so he can’t use his powers, but Noah never thought to help the kid. Now is Noah’s chance to finally do something positive in his life.

Back in New York, Peter learns from Emma that Hiro has vanished. And the only clue left is a note from Hiro – “Save Charlie!”. The next thing we know, Charlie is in Texas, back at the Burnt toast diner and Charlie is alive.

Does Gabriel Gray (Zachary Quinto) have a chance at a new life? NOT. He walked right into Samuel’s (Robert Knepper) welcoming arms, and now there is no telling what this master manipulator has in store for Sylar. One thing is certain – Gabriel Gray/Sylar is getting baptized! (and more photos here)

When Samuel meant “jump start" and wake the sleeping giant in Sylar, he uses Damian, who powers like the Haitian, only working in opposite and maybe making one remember instead of forget. Will Sylar remember who he is, who psycho he is, and what will happen to him after this? I wonder, though, if  Sylar gets his memories back does this mean he stops tormenting Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg)?

In another story, I’m glad Hiro will get his chance at a new life, if Noah (Jack Coleman) and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) can just get that healer-boy to help them!

After seeing the preview of tonight’s episode (“Ink”) on HEROES, I’ve been trying to look for more sneak peeks and I just can’t find any.. well, except for a promo of the premiere of TRAUMA, which comes after tonight’s HEROES.

But there is a new thing at HEROES. Recurring guest star Ray Park spoiled it in my interview last week – it’s a series of webisodes featuring him, Dawn and Robert, and it’s all about their back stories. Those should be really cool to watch, huh?  (By the way, check back later for part two of my interview with Ray  Park).

ODI referred that the NBC/Sprint “media episodes” will be 90 seconds, with the first 30 seconds airing during the commercial breaks and the final minute to continue online at NBC.

Meantime, there are some things we already know (aka spoiled!) for tonight:

• Emma (Deanne Bray) guest stars as a deaf heroine, or heroine-in-the-making, and Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) will become part of her life.
• Gretchen (Madeline Zima) pushes Claire (Hayden Panettiere) to reveal her secret abilities.
• Samuel (Robert Knepper) has an inside person to mess Claire’s mind up. Guess who that is! I bet it’s the same person who betrays Claire.
• Sylar is beginning to resurface away from Nathan, thanks to Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg)
• PHOTOS!

Sylar and Samuel are the worst combination!!!!  And it’s happening in this episode of HEROES when “Sylar begins his journey to find his identity”.

The title “Tabula Rasa” (blank slate) means that people are born without any mental content, and nurture alone shapes a person. This makes the friendship between Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Samuel (Robert Knepper) even more dangerous! We don’t know that Samuel is purely good or purely evil, but he is definitely not without an ulterior motive when it comes to the heroes.

Meanwhile, Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) is on a new quest – he will try to save Hiro’s (Masi Oka) life! Will he succeed? Is there someone who can heal Hiro’s illness? Hmm, I can think of someone that used to be close to Peter. *wink*

I wonder how Hiro crosses paths with Emma?  Maybe this is the episode where everyone gets to reinvent themselves. After all this volume is titled “Redemption”.

Here are some promotional pictures for next Monday’s episode on HEROES. There are very few spoilers, but they’re great intro nonetheless. We already saw the photos of Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) saving a deaf Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) from an accident. Now it looks like that serendipity will lead into something else between them, as the photos below will show.

And then there is Sylar (Zachary Quinto) tormenting Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) non-stop. I wonder if these pictures tie in with the preview of Matt losing his control, and Sylar congratulating him of how alike they are. I’m glad Sylar is back to his creepy, scary self, and he hasn’t use an ounce of power yet.

The title of the second half of the premiere episode for HEROES volume 5 (Redemption) is very telling – JUMP, PUSH, FALL. At first I thought this should refer to the suicide incident at Claire’s campus. But of course, HEROES’ ep titles have more depth than the obvious, so I am wondering what other twists episode two will hold. It’s a good thing HEROES is showing two episode for its premiere airdate! The first hour will show “Orientation”, and the photos (here and here) are filled with spoilers!

So anyhow, here are photos of the second episode titled “Jump, Push, Fall” and I have to warn you that you’ll see SPOILERS!

There are three storylines from these shots. One is of Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) fighting the knife-throwing speedster named Edgar (Ray Park). We get freeze-action shots from these photos but let me tell you those two are moving very fast in the actual scene. The video is pretty cool to watch, really! I’m not sure what happens at the end of the scene but Peter looks very shocked! Did he just kill Edgar?!

The other stories involve Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) re-enacting a very shocking incident and then getting caught doing it! The last storyline is about Hiro Nakamura’s (Masi Oka) fateful visit to the carnival. I have a feeling Samuel was waiting for Hiro to show up. So check out more photos after the cut.

It’s what we’ve been waiting for folks! We finally get photos of the premiere episode of HEROES Volume 5 (Redemption). And I’ve got to show these in two parts – the heroes and the Carnival, because there’s just so many of them it’ll be hard to load.

And you better be prepared for plenty of great SPOILERS in these images….

It looks like Hiro (Masi Oka) is in a bad shape. Ando (James Kyson Lee) is pulling him on a gurney so Hiro is either too sick to move or he is immovable in some kind of shock or time-trance. Danko the Hunter (Zeljko Ivanek) is not doing too well, and Tracy Strauss (Ali Larter) is in trouble too. What a way to start the new season! But Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is hoping for a more normal life in college as daddy Noah Benned (Jack Coleman) says goodbye to his Claire-bear. Noah is back to his old game, only this time he’s running the new Company with Angela Petrelli (Christine Rose) and Tracy.

But is mama Angela seeing double? First minute she’s talking to her son Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and the next minute he becomes Sylar (Zachary Quinto)!

Back in season 3, Peter can only have one power at a time, and I’m so hoping he absorbed Claire’s powers the latest, otherwise this bloodbath going on is going to kill him. But then wouldn’t it be cool if Peter got fatally hurt and then regenerated?

But oops. Am I seeing things or has Milo gained a little weight around the middle?
