“Heroes” Adrian Pasdar wins Saturn Award
June 26, 2009 by Grace
It was good to know that Adrian Pasdar won the best supporting actor category at the 35th Saturn Awards this weekend.
Adrian was exceptional in “Heroes” season 3 as the back-stabbing, self-serving senator Nathan Petrelli who got all the post-humans in big trouble with the government. Up until his last days, you never knew whose side Nathan was on. Let me rephrase that – Nathan will always look after his own skin, no matter whose side he’s on. And that’s what Adrian Pasdar portrayed really well last year.
So, congrats to Mr. Pasdar for the recognition!

Heroes highlight: Is Elle dead for real?
December 3, 2008 by Grace
I’m still reeling from Monday’s death trip at "Heroes". I can’t believe Kristen Bell is off the list. Elle Bishop died, and just when we were warming up to her story with Sylar.

There is something beautiful about two damaged goods finding love and hope with each other. That’s what Elle and Sylar were to most fans, I think. Maybe I’m a sucker for true love no matter who’s involved. But the story of Elle and Sylar/Gabriel was so wonderfully written (kudos to that writer) and to end it so abruptly …read more

Heroes episode 3.10 "The Eclipse – Part 1" Airdate: November 24, 2008
The recurring theme explored in this week’s episode was, what really makes a hero? Is it just one’s abilities, or who one is inside? Is it one’s abilities that give one purpose?
The new “Company” heroes new assignments: Nathan and Peter look for the Haitian; Matt and Daphne look for Hiro; and Claire needs to go underground. Pinehearst villains have only one: get Claire Bennet for the formula. Unfortunately, an eclipse is going to change their plans. Powers are soon gone, one by …read more

Heroes 3.07 "Eris Quod Sum" – review

Heroes episode 3.07 “Eris Quod Sum“ Airdate: October 27, 2008
This episode comes on the heels of Entertainment Weekly’s harsh look at what is wrong with the series. But before we get to painting the big picture (or finding it), let’s first review/recap the current episode.
Sylar to the rescue! Sylar comes to his brother’s rescue! We can all guess he took Peter’s place to get inside the company, and then slowed down his fall from the 7th floor. But I love how the episode led up to this. It seems that Angela’s powers are beyond merely dreaming or …read more
