Exclusive Interview: HEROES Ray Park Part 2

Last week, I posted the first part of my interview with Ray Park, who is a recurring guest star on HEROES. Recurring, because his character Edgar hasn’t been killed yet. Ray jokes that all his characters are doomed to death, but it wasn’t going to happen just yet. But Ray doesn’t know how long he has left on HEROES.
[The role] got a little little bit bigger from what they expected in the first place. I’m still in the show now, which is really nice. I started at the beginning and I don’t know what the end is going …read more

HEROES Spoiler/Cast News: Hiro Goes Back to First Love

It’s a bit of an old casting news but it’s so charming that late as I may be I can’t resist but get into it.
Remember Charlie? I mean who can really forget Hiro’s first love? Long after Charlie died and through most of season 1, fans still hoped that Hiro (Masi Oka) would find a way to get back to Charlie, or at least prevent Sylar from killing her. Hiro’s and Charlie’s was such a endearing tragic romance that a novel was written to save their love story.
And now that Hiro is nearing death, a bucket list and …read more

Kristin Kreuk Falls for “Chuck”

After a long stint as “SMALLVILLE”’s Lana Lang, Kristin Kreuk returns to television this fall as the romantic interest of yet another reluctant hero – Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi).
EW.com reports that Kreuk will join “CHUCK” for multiple episodes as Hannah, who got laid off from a glamorous publishing job and ends up working at the Buy More. Chuck first meets Hannah on a flight from Paris so the script could go that he offers a job opening to her. Or she suddenly shows up at Buy More applying for it (which makes her a likely candidate for a …read more

LAW & ORDER comes to ‘HEROES’

Guess who’s putting some law and order into the “HEROES” game? It’s Elizabeth Rohm, one time prosecutor in the television drama Law & Order”.
According to Zap2It, Rohm will be playing a character named Lauren Gilmore but that’s about all the information there is right now. She’s appearing in the eight episode so that won’t be until sometime in November. Hopefully by then we’ll get more leads into her character.
I remember watching her play the good lawyer in “Law & Order” but I would think her new role on “HEROES” would be something different from being on the …read more

Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar also came to the NBC All-Star Party on August 5 to parade the new season of “HEROES”.  Also in attendance was James Kyson Lee and Hayden Panettiere.

After last season, Greg’s and Adrian’s characters now share something in common – SYLAR. After Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) melted Sylar’s (Zachary Quinto) mind and made him into Nathan (Adrian Pasdar),  Sylar now inhabits Nathan’s body but a “piece” of his mind was transferred to Matt also.
Greg and Adrian spoil the new volume Redemption when they talked with NBC, so beware that you’ll get spoilers from hereon…
Well, now Sylar …read more

Smallville Panel at the Comic Con

Smallville Panel at the Comic Con

OK You’ve already seen something like this here, being we’re all Smallville fans and this year’s Comic Con was the best from Smallville. But CWtelevision posted their edited version of the panel, and with high quality sounds, it was great to clearly hear the actors talk about season 9.
And, it’s always fun to hear the Comic Con audience react to the cast. I love that girl who wanted Tom Welling to answer forever so he can keep looking at her. (Wish I was in her shoes at that moment.)

And in the second vid, the funniest answer to a question …read more

Masi Oka, and a look at Disney’s “PONYO”

Masi Oka, and a look at Disney’s “PONYO”

This is one of those fortunate accidents that lead to a beautiful discovery… I was looking for sightings of Masi Oka and found him at the screening of the animated film “PONYO”.

PONYO is the story of a girl-goldfish who wanted to become human. Sounds like Disney’s “ARIAL”? Actually it doesn’t. I watched the trailer below and was impressed by the story and animation. It’s very cartoonish, not at all CG, but it it’s still great quality. It’s certainly something I would like my kids to watch.
The animation is adapted from the Japanese film PONYO and is written/directed by …read more

Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum Man-hug at Lakers Game

Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum Man-hug at Lakers Game

Thanks to reader Lynn, I learned that Michael Rosenbaum and Tom Welling were at the same Lakers vs. Magic Game (NBA Finals) last June, but apparently they didn’t know the other one was going.
And just randomly, Tom spotted Michael and gave him a manhug! Watch this video. You’ll have to be patient; but start watching the far left side of the screen below the ring (around 0:53). You will see Tom point to Michael to get his attention. He’ll go over and they give a man-hug. They probably haven’t seen each other in ages!
